Is NEW hardware NEEDED to game in 2024?

Hello everyone, in this video I wanted to try playing some games on a 13 year old laptop! The goal of this video was to show that you can still have fun playing older games with older hardware.
The laptop which I used in the video is a Thinkpad T420.
