The W Miami was chosen by us for our trip to Florida because of its proximity to the Port of Miami for our cruise on Virgin Voyage's Scarlet Lady. While paid rates were over $500 a night, we were able to redeem one 50,000 point certificate as well as 50,000 additional Marriott Bonvoy points for our stay. I also had two suite night awards given to me for earning Platinum status with Marriott, so I applied those as well. We were upgraded to a Marvelous Suite, which is featured in the review as well.
