Here is how to update the firmware on your bolt receiver for your Logitech MX Master 3S mouse.

First you will need to ensure you have Logi Options+ software installed on your computer.

Next Open Logi Options+ and select your MX Master 3S from the list of connected devices.

Finally click on the Settings tab located on the left-hand side panel. Now under the "Receiver Firmware Version" section you will see a "CHECK FOR UPDATE" button. Click that and the software will check to see if there is newer software available and download it for you. If there is you will now see an "UPDATE NOW" button.

Follow the steps for the installation by clicking NEXT when you need to on the options. Finally you will have to turn your mouse over and turn it OFF and ON once. Once back on the red light will blink red and green which means the mouse is updating. Wait until the update is completely installed and then you will have control of your mouse again.
