Northeast Canyons Offshore Fishing | Blue Marlin

On July 9-10, 2016 myself and My Fishing Cape Codders Kurt and Ted Saraceno headed offshore to the Northeast Canyons in search of marlin and tuna.

The fishing did not dissapoint!

At one point we got bit every 10-15 minutes, and even quintupled up! Most of the tunas were very small, however we did catch 3 yellowfins in the 60 pound range.

Those fish put up a tremendous fight, as did the two 100+ pound marlin which we also managed to catch while trolling the same general area.

Green machines and purple squid spreader bars were by far the most productive.
