Emmett Ryker Tribute // Best of Me (The Virginian)

A tribute to one of my absolute favorite tv western heroes. Clu Gulager starred in The Virginian as Deputy/Sheriff Ryker from 1963-1968.

Ryker was an outlaw until he “saw the light” & became a lawman. This character knows what it’s like to be on the wrong side of the law & does his best to understand the law while also feeling for those he brings to justice. The underrated Clu plays this character perfectly.
