Welcome to day 3 of our January content campaign which we are calling "Digitisation of the Landlord Lifecycle". Today we are still in the pre-acquisition phase and we hear from Lendlord CEO Aviram Shahar on the importance of deal analysis and how to use the FREE Lendlord deal analyser to "stack" a deal to make sure it makes financial sense.

Pre acquisition

This is when a landlord/prospective landlord is undertaking their research and starting to work out their business plan.

This will include assessing tenant demand, the area they wish to invest in, the type of property that they intend to invest in, the strategy they are going to adopt, and the tax structure they will be using.If not purchasing for cash, the landlord should understand what financial products they have access to with their set of personal circumstances.

Finance is the lifeblood of any BTL business, and those who do not have access to it will find it far more challenging to make headway.During this stage, deals should also be “stacked” to see if they make financial sense. There is little sense in investing time in viewing properties that do not stack, so this acts as a filter at this early stage.
