Jenny Tinmouth onboard Honda CBR1000RR Portimao circuit Focused Events fast group day 2 last sesh.

Last session on day 2 of a 3 day Focused Events track days 8th -10th Sept 2023 at the awesome Autodromo do Algarve International Circuit Portimao. Onboard my 2021 BSB Superstock spec CBR1000RR built by Jackson’s Racing. Huge thanks to my sponsors WGA Construction, Stuart Green for this track day event. Portimoa Circuit is one of the best in the world, a fast technical roller coaster it is ridiculous amounts of fun and very rewarding when you get it right, it’s one of the tracks you need to keep coming back to to find the best lines and braking points, especially with all the changes in elevation and rapid changes of direction and cambers, it is so much fun.
I was breaking too early still for most corners and not quite using all the track and not quite getting on the gas early enough …all the usual stuff ha ha …but it was just a track day, a opportunity to have fun and running around on my SC2 scrubs from 2021 I didn’t want to risk anything so fun and laps was the name of the game, my best time on my Honda Superbike was a 1:49.66 in 2017 …not exactly setting the world on fire but not bad, my lap timer only worked intermittently on this day and I clocked a 153.2 during the session it worked, don’t know if that was my best but happy with that considering I wasn’t pushing the boat out and on my old used SC2’s . I had a mega enjoyable 3 days and am so greatful to get to go and ride such a great track so huge thank you again to Stuart and WGA Construction 🙏😁

I can 100% recommend this track to any track day rider who fancies a European track day, it is quiet honestly stunning, it is just a buzz to ride and the location and weather help it be the perfect track day experience.
