Hiking to the Highest Point on Table Mountain | Maclear's Beacon

This is probably one of the most popular routes up Table Mountain via Platteklip Gorge. It is by no means easy and it will definitely get the heart rate up. The elevation is about 700m in 2km so that should tell the story. We took the cable car down because we extended the route to Maclear's Beacon. The beacon is the highest point on Table Mountain at 1086m.
