Make a trip to Lancelin, which is about a 1.5-hour drive from central Perth, where the family will be rewarded with beautiful beaches, chances of spotting dolphins, and, in Annabel's opinion, Lancelin Sand Dunes.

Annabel's family had a blast sandboarding on Western Australia’s biggest sand dunes, including the little ones! A really fun activity for amateurs and people of all ages! Most of the dunes are 45 degrees angled, but there are some parts that are gentler and more suitable for young children.

👌🏻 Head over in the early morning for fewer crowds and an easier breeze.

Renting of the sandboard is easy; the rental trucks are located on-site and easily accessible. Dirt bikes and 4 wheel drive are also avail, so go on and have fun!
