Niramish Aloor Dom| দারুন স্বাদের কষা আলুর দম | Bhog er Alur Dom Recipe😱

Aloor Dum is a potato based spicy Bengali dish, the potatoes, are first deep fried, and then cooked slowly at low flame in a gravy with spices. This lip-smacking dish you can try at home
Ingredients
1. Alu - 700 gms
2. Dried Red chilli - 2 pcs
3. Bay Leaf - 2 pcs
4. Cinnamon Stick - 1 small pc
5. Cardamom - 3 pcs
6. Cumin Seeds - ½ tsp
7. Turmeric Powder - ½ tsp
8. Kashmiri Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
9. Cumin Powder ½ tsp
10. Garam Masala -1 tsp
11. Green Peas - 50 gms
12. Peanuts - 100 gms
13. Salt - As per taste
14. Sugar - 1 tsp
Cooking Process: -
Add vegetable oil on the pan and heat the oil
Fry potatoes for two min and set aside
Add Dried Red chilli, Bay Leaf, Cinnamon Stick, Cardamom, Cumin Seeds in the oil
Add the powder paste
Add water
Add Sugar and Salt
Add fried potatoes
Mix potatoes with the spices
Add one cup of water
Cook for 10 min until potatoes become soft
Add green peas
Add peanut paste
Cook for two min and stir continuously
Finish it by adding garam masala
Enjoy! Serve hot with luchi, koraishuti’r kochuri, polao, fried rice, or porota.
