Explanation In English
We have to find the heights of the three objects i.e. Building, Tree and the pole using the clinometer.

Let's take the first case of Building.
Here the angle l of elevation as indicated by the Clinometer is 45 degree. And the length of the base which can be easily measured as it is accessible is 24cm.
So using tan45 = P/B where B is base (24cm) and tan45 is 1 hence P (building height) is 24cm.
Similarly proceed for other objects using tan of the different angles.
