Prof (Dr.) B S Tomar – Chancellor Nims University a dynamic, versatile, charismatic and multidimensional personality is a Professor of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition, Director-Institute of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition, Director – Institute of Organ Transplant, Chair – Institute of Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine and a teacher of immense caliber and repute.

Prof (Dr.) B S Tomar had been facilitating strategic planning and initiatives such as: enhancing career development and producing opportunities for all faculty members; promoting faculty diversity creating the Office of Academic Integrity in the University.

Prof (Dr.) B S Tomar has been widely admired for dynamic leadership qualities. He is doing philanthropic work by establishing a research center of national repute in many areas, dedicated to the nation for the service of society. He invented treatment therapy by the D-penicillamine for the deadly disease called “Indian Childhood Cirrhosis”. This had been a major research project published in “Advances in pediatrics”.
