BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASE:

On 28.11.2024, team of AATS/OD nabbed an autolifter cum proclaimed offender. 04 Stolen two wheelers were recovered from his possession. 04 MV Theft cases worked out.

TEAM CONSTITUTION AND INTERROGATION

As per the directions of worthy DCP/Outer District, to prevent MV theft incidents in the area of Outer District and to take stringent action against auto lifters, a team of AATS, Outer District comprising of SI Deepak, SI Raj Kumar, ASI Ramesh, ASI Shakti, HC Amit, Ct. Parveen, Ct. Avnish and Ct. Aryadeep led by Inspr. Jasmohinder, I/C AATS under close supervision of Sh. Narender Khatri, ACP/Ops. was constituted.

The team led efforts in gathering techints and humints. On 28.11.2024 the team got humints. Further, on the basis of humints the team laid down trap and after rigorous efforts the team successfully apprehended one suspect. On enquiry, he was identified as Imran and found to be declared as a Proclaimed offender in case FIR No. 16/2018, PS Mayapuri on 27.06.2024 by the Hon'ble Court of Sh. P. Bhargav Rao, MM- 03, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi. One scooty was recovered from his possession which was found to be stolen in e-FIR No. 035838/24, PS Paschim Vihar West. During sustained interrogation, 02 more scooty stolen in e-FIR No. 015957/23, PS Rani Bagh and e-FIR No. 023614/22, PS South Rohini, Rohini District and 01 motor cycle stolen in e-FIR No. 023160/24, PS Vijay Vihar, Rohini District were also recovered on his instance. The accused person was arrested u/s 35.1 (e) BNSS, PS Raj Park.

On sustained interrogation, he further disclosed that he used to steal two wheelers and parked them at some deserted places and further sell them.

RECOVERY:

• 03 Stolen scooty
• 01 Stolen motor cycle


Further investigation is going on.
