Spy Museum Advisory Board Member Nance will share the surprisingly humorous tale of his progress through the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases course on biological weapons in terrorism among other timely topics. Nance was a career US Navy terrorism intelligence collector, code breaker, and interrogator with wide-ranging field and combat experience in the Middle East, South West Asia, and Africa.

Nance is a counterterrorism analyst for MSNBC and the author of The Terrorist Recognition Handbook, The Terrorists of Iraq: The Strategy and Tactics of the Iraq Insurgency, An End to al-Qaeda: Destroying Bin Laden’s Jihad, the New York Times best seller Defeating ISIS: Who They Are, How They Fight, What They Believe and his latest, Plot to Destroy Democracy: How Putin and His Spies are Undermining America and Dismantling the West.
