Judith Jamison Says New Alvin Ailey Documentary Gives “Intimate Look” into His Life

Iconic dancer and Alvin Ailey’s talented muse Judith Jamison joins us to reflect on Ailey’s undying legacy and new PBS documentary, “Ailey.” The program that centers around the trailblazing pioneer looks back at the influential dance studio he started in 1958. Judith also celebrates the 50th anniversary of her signature solo “Cry” that has been passed on to all the women in the theater.
