Join us as we visit Australia Zoo, in Beerwah - a large wildlife park with animals from both native Australia and around the world. But this is not your typical zoo. Australia Zoo has clear conservation principles. There are breeding and species protection programs that the zoo supports, as well as a wildlife hospital. It was a beautiful sunny day when we visited…..and wow! The zoo has evolved over the years…it just keeps getting better and better…….

HOW DO YOU GET THERE?
Australia Zoo is an easy 88 km drive from Brisbane via the M1 and the Steve Irwin Way. Public transport from Noosa and the surrounding Sunshine Coast area to Australia Zoo is available either through Translink Bus & Rail Services or Greyhound.

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!

Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.

Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.

Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Australia and sharing everything our beautiful country has to offer!
