Here’s how you find great locations:

Research the job market and make sure it’s growing. You can find some helpful data here and take a look: [U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS)](https://www.bls.gov/)

Check the future development and see if there are schools, businesses, stores, or parks being built.

Be as close to these institutions and amenities as possible.

Make sure the crime rates are low and you can find that info on sites like the NeighborhoodScout.

You should check the area's tendency to experience natural disasters such as floods, storms, and tornados.

Example: Certain parts of Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas are known for being a tornado hotspot so avoid locations like these.

And of course, don’t forget to check historical data and rental yields over the years so your investment is profitable.
