This is the full build video for my model of the Taiidan Attack Bomber from the Homeworld series of games. The original piece of art that inspired the build was drawn and animated by Space Gooose, who's drawn all sorts of cool stuff.

This was a long build, between the model of the ship, and the scenery to hold it. I'm especially happy with the magnetic attachment point that holds it all together.

Materials used:
Lots and lots and lots of styrene sheets (.040 and .020 thickness)
Tank treads from three different kits
Assorted wheels the same tank kits
5 popsicle sticks
Various mechanical bits from a model kit of a car
A couple big circles from an artillery kit
Several different kinds of wire
A big piece of balsa wood
Several smaller pieces of balsa wood
One plastic thimble
A tiny, very powerful Neodymium magnet
A small piece of tomato paste can
Basically a whole can of IPS Weld-On 3
Acrylic paints for base coats and chipping details
Oil paints for weathering
Too much masking tape
