This week we are in Ikaatini in Machakos county and we are visiting farmer Petronila Mutiso.

Petronila collects surface runoff and pumps the water onto her farm. She uses sprinkling and flooding and needs to transition to drip irrigation. She keeps kienyeji chicken, she would like to expand her shed and business and venture into chilli farming.

In this farm we are going to learn about:

1. How to convert your passion for chicken keeping into a profitable agribusiness.
2. How to grow profitable chillies.
3. How to save water, energy by using Solar energy and drip Irrigation.
4. How to mill your flour, make your animal feed at home using solar energy.
