The Ford Thames van was produced by Ford between 1957 & September 1965, from then onwards the Ford Transit took over the mantle and carried onwards with the Ford Transit custom mk1, when the Ford Thames production ceased after 8 years. Ford produced 187,000 Ford Thames vans during the 8 year production run. There were several body styles available including van, pickup, minibus chassis cab.
