We Got Insanely Strong Crate Axles For the Jeep! Ultra4 Build - Ep7

Moving along on the Jeep Wrangler JK King of the Hammers build, its time to check out our new crate axles from Advanced Driveline!

Advanced Driveline offers an assortment of axles for Jeeps, bolt in 1-tons, heavy duty 44s, semi float bolt in 60s, and even have the option for custom setups.
I went with the Super Kingpin 60 and 14 bolt combo. This setup insanely strong, 4" axle tubes, 40 spline shafts, 1550 U joints, Reid Cs and Knuckles, Drive Slugs, 5.13s, custom 73.5" width, full brake setup, ARB front and spooled rear, extra caster built in, HD diff covers and fully welded tubes.
These are typically offered with full aluminum steering and brackets, however i choose to leave those off since we wont be using the factory JK setup. These axles have a ton of advantages, and i will work on a Junkyard DIY vs Crate Axle video soon!

After getting the new axles placed under the jeep, we finish out the rear "body subframe" in prep for our fuel tank and radiator mount. We opened up a ton of room in the rear, but its important to make sure the body doesn't flex around or become unstable.

We also started on the rear link crossmember. Using a front Clayton Offroad JK 3 link crossmember, i welded on a set of Globex Performance crossmember replacement brackets. These are a great factory replacement option, and in our case a good option for the rear as well.
