The Chordettes' 1959 version of "Pink Shoe Laces"--derived from the original by Chicago-born Dodie Stevens released the same year--was a stroke of brilliance for "Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and staff (season 2, episode 9, released December 5, 2018). But the dance challenge to this fine tune in May 2023 brought out the best in everyone. This 3-minute dance compilation was cobbled together by John LeGear for the film history series "Movie Music Memories."
