FINAL THOUGHTS
So this seems like a decent microphone. It's got a little bit of self noise but you can get rid of it by either just using noise reduction or recording it a little quieter than you want it and then use software to bring it up to the level that works for you in your mix. In a live situation I don't see many problems (other than the switch) as long as other members of the band aren't using brand name microphones that cost 10X what this one does. I really had to crank it up with the mic preamp wide open and the channel volume cranked but I have to admit my gear is setup to use higher output microphones so that's not exactly a mystery to me. In the sound examples at the end of the video you'll get a basic idea of the quality of the sound. This mic reminds my of those Behringer mics you could by in a pack of 3 for a hundred bucks back in the day. Its a perfectly serviceable mic. I would usually put a band of tape on my microphones so I know which one is mine at a glance. If I were using this mic on a gig I would likely put that tape over the switch so that it's permanently switched on. Nothing worse than spending valuable setup time tracing your entire signal path trying to figure out why you're not getting any sound only to find out the friggin' mic was switched off. I would also use a proper XLR cable rather than this conversion cable that I used for the sound example in the video. It might even cancel out the small bit of self noise I was getting. When I say small I mean it was not enough that you'd likely notice in a live band situation.

Here's what Acoustify have to say about it:
