India has firmly rejected the European Union’s criticism over its participation in the Russia-Belarus Zapad 2025 military exercise. The Ministry of External Affairs highlighted that several NATO members, including the United States, Turkey, and Hungary, are also observers in the same drills. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, "I would also like to point out that several other countries, including NATO members, such as the U.S. Turkey and Hungary, are also participating in the exercise as observers."
