My friends and I went to Florida for the Clearwater marathon. When I put a marathon, or any challenge, on the calendar with my friends… the marathon itself is a small part of the weekend. The lead up, the excitement and hanging out before is as fun if not MORE than the run itself.

My advice if you’re putting a race or challenge together with your friends, add some time on the front and back end. Might be your favorite part.
