When watching Prince's new music video "Breakfast Can Wait," one wouldn't assume that this was the director's first directing gig.

Professional dancer Danielle Curiel, is the 18-year-old that was given complete creative and directorial control from Prince himself for his new hot and steamy video.

Curiel sat down with VIBE to give us an exclusive interview on how she was chosen to direct the video, how she came up with the concept, and her clever impersonation of the legend.

"It's funny because when I was Prince he didn't know that, " laughed Curiel. "He saw the picture of me as Prince and he flipped out and was like what that's crazy and he started laughing."
