Calamity Mine (previously Colorado ) is a mine train roller coaster in the Belgian amusement park Walibi Belgium .

The roller coaster, built by the Dutch company Vekoma , was opened in 1992 under the name Colorado and has a track length of 785 m. In 1998 the track was renamed Calamity Mine by Maurice De Bevere , the artist who wrote the comics of Lucky under the pseudonym Morris. Luke signed. In 2007-2008 the roller coaster was renovated. In its early years, Calamity Mine also had a water effect in the center of the lake. Whenever the train skims over the water, water jumps up both sides of the train. In 2012, this effect returned after several years of absence.

Calamity Mine has a typical mine train theme with lots of mountains, waterfalls and sharp turns. The orbit contains no inversions .
