Can Justice Truly Be Delivered Within 1 Year in India?
In Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur district, a case has been going on for 40 years. The case is not about murder, robbery, or land grab—it’s about deciding whether someone died on March 31st or April 2nd. Just one date. Two sides, two different wills. And even after 40 years, justice is still pending.
This isn't just one example—it reflects the painful truth of India's justice system. But recently, India's Home Minister made a historic announcement:
From the day an FIR is filed to the final verdict by the Supreme Court, justice will be ensured within 3 years.
1 year for District Court
1 year for High Court
1 year for Supreme Court
This is the essence of the bold reform called “Justice Within a Year.” Justice, not in decades—but in just a few years.Why is Legal Reform Urgently Needed? India has over 50 million pending cases. And according to estimates, at least 50% of them are fake or baseless. Why?
❌ Because lying is not a crime in India.
❌ Filing a false FIR is not a punishable offense.
❌ Submitting fake affidavits in court carries no real penalty.
❌ Witnesses are bribed and manipulated, and nobody is held accountable.
When lies flourish, justice dies. The guilty escape, and the innocent suffer.
Three Major Reforms India Desperately Needs:
1️⃣ Police Reform:
Replace the outdated 1861 Police Act.
Implement One Nation, One Police Code.
Create a Police Charter—fix responsibilities of every rank from constable to DSP.
2️⃣ Unified Penal Code:
Currently, every crime has a different law:
Drug trafficking
Black marketing
Land fraud
Forgery
Money laundering
Terrorism
Conversion rackets
India needs One National Penal Code like the U.S. Federal Penal Code, where all crimes are defined in a single legal framework.
3️⃣ Administrative & Judicial Reform:
Transform police stations into Primary Security Centers.
Define time limits for court judgments.
Implement a Judicial Charter for accountability.
Evidence Act Must Be Rewritten Unless lying is declared a heinous crime, the system will never improve.
We need:
Legal approval for Narco Test, Polygraph, and Brain Mapping Cancel citizenship for those who file fake cases or submit forged documents Life imprisonment for false testimony or forged property documents Delayed Justice = Denied Justice In the Kanhaiya Lal murder case, the killers made a video and confessed—but are still enjoying jail luxuries. In 1990, a terrorist killed four air force officers and confessed on national TV. Still alive and comfortable in jail. In Punjab, a mother and son sold Air Force land using fake papers. Why? Because forging documents is not treated as a serious crime. These examples show the reality: until lying becomes a punishable offense, justice is impossible.
Make Lies a Crime
Justice in India can only be possible when:
The Evidence Act is modernized
A Citizen Charter is implemented
And tools like Narco Test and Brain Mapping are given legal status
📢 And most importantly—those who lie, cheat, or file fake cases should lose their citizenship.
3-Year Justice Timeline – A New Beginning
The Central Government has started taking Justice Within a Year seriously. Key laws are already updated:
1860’s Indian Penal Code
1872’s Evidence Act
1973’s CrPC
Now is the time for bold reforms. Now is the time for timely and fair justice.
In Conclusion: Someone once said: "Remove police for 15 minutes and we’ll eliminate Hindus from India."That person is still roaming free, not in jail, and even contesting elections. Why?Because India’s legal system has no way to detect and punish lies effectively.

✅ Severe punishment for liars
