More About Giraffe Conservation:
Nashville Zoo supports giraffe conservation through our Wild Works Conservation Program, providing both financial support and staff expertise to partners like Save Giraffes Now. Our hoofstock keepers have traveled to Kenya and Botswana to assist with critical fieldwork, including giraffe monitoring, community outreach, and relocation efforts to protect wild populations.

Save Giraffes Now works to protect giraffes in ten African countries through rewilding, rescue centers, anti-poaching efforts, and conservation research. They support all four giraffe species and collaborate with local communities to ensure their survival.

Guests can support initiatives like this by meeting and feeding our giraffes during a Backstage Pass Tour. Proceeds directly benefit our conservation programs, making a difference around the world.
