Lego Technic scale model RC FTF Truck with Nooteboom 4 axle rear steer trailer

After taking part in Lego World ( 2016 ) I came home with a lot of ideas and inspiration. I had a lot of medium blue Lego and the idea to build a true Dutch truck and trailer (Because I'm a Dutchman ) so I searched on Google with these parameters and so I found a company who fitted them. That was Xiffix a Dutch company who rented trailers they use this truck (FTF 8x4 FSV-11 37 DBT) especially as a show truck because it is a Reasonable older truck. It is quite obvious why they use this truck because the F in FTF stands for The name Floor and one of the F’s in Xiffix also stands for Floor because the owners of the companies are related. FTF stopped producing trucks in 1995 because the main brands also began to make special trucks and they could not compete with them anymore, so they decided to only build trailers under the name Floor. In recent years, they have moved more to trailer parts and now also deliver to Nooteboom.

The challenge with the build of this truck was the limited number of parts in this Lego Color ( medium Blue ) as well to get the rear steer axle to work properly . Both was a quite challenge but I think I succeeded pretty good If I can say it myself.

The Nooteboom trailer ( MCOS -58-04V ) I got inspired to on Lego World by the MCO Nooteboom trailer build and designed by Jaap Techic in Lego . ( Instructions for this trailer can you find at: http://www.jaaptechnic.com ) So I decided to build also a trailer out of the MCO family. I build a smaller one, only with 4 rear steered axles. If you want to know how this works you have to buy the instructions of Jaap Because out of I respect his instructions.

The decals for this truck and trailer are specially designed for me by my buddy Jaap Techinc . they are awesome because he is specialized in the Lego colors.
