Israeli security forces shot two Palestinian men on Thursday who appeared unarmed and surrendering during a raid in the occupied West Bank, according to footage from Palestine TV. The video shows the men leaving a Jenin building, lifting their shirts, and lying on the ground. Forces then ordered them back inside before opening fire at close range.

The Palestinian Authority condemned the incident as a “war crime,” calling the killings brutal field executions. Israeli forces said the men were wanted and linked to a terror network, adding that the shooting is now under review.

Israeli forces said the men were wanted for “terror activities,” including throwing explosives and shooting at security personnel. According to their statement, troops surrounded the building, initiated a surrender process that lasted several hours, and used engineering tools before the suspects finally emerged. After they exited, forces opened fire.

The Jenin raid is the latest in Israel’s months-long campaign across northern West Bank cities, which it says targets Palestinian armed groups behind attacks on Israeli soldiers and settlers. A day earlier, the military also launched an operation in nearby Tubas.
