Health Update: Babesia Infection with 1 in 10,000,000 odds

US Healthcare System:    • The US Healthcare System is Breaking Me  
I tested positive for babesia and bartonella infections. The odds of getting babesia in Texas are lower than lightniing strikes. It was hard to even find an infectious disease doctor willilng to evalaute the results. This is just one more step in my odd journey and I hope it can be treated.

Health Problem info:
After suffering for two years, I finally got a diagnosis of Vitamin B1 deficiency which caused beriberi symtpoms. Thiamine (or Vitamin B1) is essential to the function of your nervous system. When it is low, your nervous system can't function properly and you develope beriberi. After treating this with supplementation, the worst symptoms went away but a few remained. I now struggle with lots of joint pain.
