Today we are playing Farming Simulator 22

We wake up on the Honeycomb Farm and tonight we are gonna be producing Square Grass Bales. Lucky enough just behind the farm yard there is a Massive Field: 71 in which we head to with our grass equipment.
Mower - Tedder - Windrower - Baler - Bale Trailers


We begin by cutting the grass with the big grass mower which makes cutting the grass an absolute breeze. With the grass cut we can move on to the Tedder

A hay tedder is a piece of farming equipment designed to optimize the drying process for cut hay, by lifting, spreading, and fluffing it evenly across field.

After we had teddered the field we attached the Windrower to the back of the tractor and carried on

A Windrower's job is to rearrange Piles of Grass, Hay or Straw that are lying on the ground, merging the material together into a single continuous line - a Windrow. This makes it much easier to pick up the material using a Loading Wagon, Baler or Pickup Header.

Then we start with the Square Baler. Although this baler is different to the round one as on the round bales when the trailer hits 100% full you have to stop and manually empty the baler where as with this method. Once the bale is finished it unloads off the back of the baler unit

Then it’s time to load up the trailer collection wagons. Each trailer holds 14 Bales so after the bales had been collected we head up to Johnston Farmers Market and unload each trailer. We had to hire the use of 2 AI Drivers to drive the other 2 Tractors. At the Johnson’s Farm shop we developed a syestem of 1 Tractor in - Unload and then sent it back home to make space for the next load to be dropped off. We then take all the machines back home and then park up and lock up the garages and call it a Night :)

Roughly we made about 56/57 bales from Field 71
