Virtual reality film sets are taking center stage at Hengdian World Studios, the Hollywood of China, as more filmmakers use the technology for both big and small screen productions.

Partially drapped in green fabric, the VR set is equipped for post production editing magic where the desired background can be easily added.

Film producers say making movies with VR-ready sets helps save in production costs.
