Wherein we can't quite compare the boot to much other than a vintage military style. But those aren't called Combat Boots anymore; they're called Tactical Operations now, right?

This model is 1964-M, which may refer to a year and style or is that just coincidence? I don't usually need waterproof or insulated boots, so these might be better for warm weather, anyway. Side stamping says Water Resistant : Oil Tanned.

I didn't try to name-drop all of the other brands again here, although I will have to cover them more again soon in the next installment. I didn't mention that the fit runs a bit more snug than some of those other ones, either, so if you're reading this, then be aware that they have lower profile in the toe and all that. The inner is a padded foam footbed feeling similar to the Georgia boot.
