Congratulations to Neuville who made an impressive comeback from mid-race onwards, beating both Evans and Ogier and winning the 88th Monte-Carlo Rally. Incredible that Neville and Ogier, in Sunday's power stage, scored 9:39.0, detached by only 0.016s, crazy! Evans total detachment from the first place was 14.7 seconds. Very little detachment from Ogier, only 1.7 seconds!
Good race by Lappi, first of the Ford team. Despite the apparent gap between the vehicles of the blue oval and the opponents like Toyota and Hyundai, he closed with an excellent fourth place. However, the time gap compared to the third place, Evans, is significant: +2:54.7. The top three of the podium, after more than 3 hours of competition, are grouped in about 15 seconds overall. Finalmente il WRC 2020 è iniziato con il Rallye di Montecarlo, ci troviamo vicino a Gap, nella Alpi Francesi e questo è il video 4x comparativo definitivo (virtuale da spettatore) Neuville vs Ogier vs Evans vs Lappi. Questi sono i piloti che hanno terminato il rally rispettivamente al primo, secondo, terzo e quarto posto. I filmati si riferiscono alle prove speciali 4/7 St-Clement-Sur-Durance/Freissinieres,10/12 La Breole/Selonnet e lo Shakedown con gli highlights dei passaggi migliori, solo azione, Flatout, Max Attack & Pure Sound! Congratulazioni a Neuville che da metà rally in avanti ha compiuto una splendida rimonta, battendo sia Evans, sia Ogier, aggiudicandosi l'88° Rallye di Monte-Carlo. Incredibile che entrambi nella power stage di Domenica fra Neuville ed Ogier che hanno segnato il medesimo tempo, 9:39, distaccati di soli 0.016s, pazzesco! Risicato anche il distacco assoluto del francese nei confronti del pilota belga, solo 1,7 secondi! Lappi, al suo debutto, si è subito dimostrato molto forte ed estremamente competitivo. Nonostante l'edidente divario prestazionale fra le macchine dell'ovale blu e gli avversari di Toyota e Hyundai, ha chiuso con un eccellente quarto posto. Tuttavia, il distacco dei tempi rispetto al terzo posto di Evans è significativo: +2:54.7. I primi tre piloti del podio, dopo più di 3 ore di competizione, sono raggruppati in circa 15 secondi complessivi.
