Telugu actor Allu Arjun appeared before the Hyderabad Police on Tuesday, following a summon issued to him on Monday in connection with the tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre on December 4. The incident occurred during the premiere of his film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to her son, who is grappling for his life at a private hospital.

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy & AIMIM's Akbaruddin Owaisi stirred up a storm in the Assembly alleging that Allu Arjun had stayed back at the theatre and waved to the crowd as he left, despite knowing about the tragic incident.

The BJP has accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of orchestrating vandalism at Allu Arjun's Jubilee Hill house, and has alleged that a "state-sponsored attack" was organised because the Telugu actor hadn't toed the line of the Congress party.
