Shravanabelagola is a town located near Channarayapatna of Hassan district in the Indian state of Karnataka. The Gommateshwara Bahubali statue at Shravanabelagola is one of the most important tirthas in Jainism.
Shravanabelagola is an important Jain pilgrimage Centre in South Karnataka. Shravanabelagola is home to the 18 m high(approx 58 feet) statue of Lord Gommateshwara, considered to be one of the world's tallest free-standing monolithic statues.
