Price: Triumph Daytona 660 price for its variant - Daytona 660 Standard starts at Rs. 12,37,000. The mentioned Daytona 660 price is the on-road price of Thiruvananthapuram.

Triumph Daytona 660 is a sports bike available in only 1 variant and 3 colours. The Triumph Daytona 660 is powered by 660cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 93.87 bhp and a torque of 69 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Triumph Daytona 660 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Daytona 660 bike weighs 201 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 14 liters.

With the Daytona 660, Triumph has resurrected the iconic Daytona nameplate in a smaller, friendlier, and more accessible avatar. The new Daytona 660, besides the name, doesn’t retain anything from the now-defunct Daytona 675 and is aimed at delivering a very different riding experience.

Powering the motorcycle is the same 660cc, inline triple-cylinder engine that does duty on the Trident 660 and the Tiger Sport 660. However, for the Daytona, Triumph has tuned this engine to be more powerful at 94bhp and 69Nm, which is around 13bhp and 5Nm more than its roadster and sports tourer siblings. That said, the Daytona is also slightly heavier than the two with a kerb weight of 201kg.

The hardware package is typical Triumph with premium bits like 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD forks and a Showa monoshock with preload adjustment. Its braking hardware includes twin 310mm front discs and a 220mm disc at the rear with Triumph-branded callipers. The instrumentation setup comprises an LCD-TFT combination with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and phone and music controls. Other features include LED illumination, three ride modes – Rain, Road, and Sport – and dual-channel ABS as standard.

The Daytona 660 competes against bikes like the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the Honda CBR 650R.
