Asmita Adhikari has made it big as a singer since she made her debut as a contestant in Nepal Idol. Today she is in great demand, be it for song recordings or live performances.

Mahesh Kafle became famous when the song “Souteni Aama” went viral early in his career. He has given several other hit songs since then. Like Asmita, he is also a highly sought-after singer for shows in and outside the country.

Asmita and Mahesh began their musical collaboration nearly four years ago with the song "Lajjawati Jhar". By the time they had worked together on a few more songs, they were already a couple as the musical partnership blossomed into love.

The two got engaged on their way to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for a performance last month and are set to tie the knot soon.
