Koh Yao Noi, Thailand. A short tour of this gem of an island # Koh yao noi

Join us in taking a look at our week on the wonderful island of Koh Yao Noi in beautiful Phang nga Bay in Thailand.
This wonderful unspoilt island is a 30-minute speed boat ride from Krabi or Phuket and is a truly wonderful little island.
This was our 2nd visit to the Koh Yao Noi, and we stayed at the beautiful Purana resort on the west coast of the island.
The island is smaller than its neighbour Koh Yao Yai but has a wider choice of beaches , hotels, bars, and restaurants but has not lost its unique rural feel of Thai life.
Getting around on the island is easy with great roads, and scooters cost about £5 per day to hire.
If you are looking for a laid-back gentle island with lovely friendly people , great food, and some lovely beaches , then Koh Yao Noi is a great place to visit.
The island is also great to arrange days out to the nearby Hong island, which is well worth a visit.
