Bible Character: Ezra

Ezra, the scribe, was an influential editor of the Pentateuch, the first five books of the bible. As the exile of the Jewish people in Babylon drew to a close, Ezra instructed the people about their laws and traditions and helped them return to a careful practice of their faith.
