Hey howdy hey how is everybody doing and welcome back to Disney Daily.

Finding Nemo was released to the world in the year. . In the movie we meet uptight Marlin and his curious son Nemo who have experienced a bit of a disconnect in their relationship. When Nemo is suddenly taken by scuba divers, Marlin must conquer his fears of the sea to save his son. It is in this exploration of the sea that marlin bumps into my favorite character the hilarious blue tang fish, Dory. Dory is very kind hearted and just wants to help but sadly she can’t seem to remember much of anything.

That is except for reading. When Marlin and Dory are able to locate googles that belong to the diver that took Nemo. It is Dory who is able to read who they belong to and where to locate then.

In my opinion Dory is the one who made the reunion happen and is the true hero in the movie.

Now, Since Dory’s ability to read was so crucial to the storyline, in today’s video I wanted to focus on the question: just how and where did she learn how to read? .

In finding Nemo reading is at first something Dory forgets she can do, it isn’t until she is forced too that she remembers.

Her reading is highlighted not only when translating the goggles for Marlin. But when the clownfish and her need to out swim a big white shark named Bruce, she is able to read the writing on the ship which allows them to escape.

Her reading skills although rusty are incredibly useful but just how did she learn to do this?
