"Private Dancer" is the fifth solo album by the American singer Tina Turner. It is her most successful album and made her breakthrough as a solo artist worldwide. The album consists partly of new compositions, partly from cover versions; Turner did not participate in the songwriting process. Musically, the album is characterized by a mix of rock, R&B, pop and new wave elements. This is a departure from the earlier soul releases with her ex-husband Ike Turner. After several commercially unsuccessful solo releases, private dancer is considered Tina Turner's big breakthrough as a solo artist. In 1985 she won four Grammy Awards with the album; three for "What's Love Got To Do With It" and one for "Better Be Good To Me". Private Dancer has sold over 20 million copies worldwide, making it one of the 100 best-selling albums worldwide. (Piano solo, Digital Grand Piano) Sebouh Chaparian.
