The Alliance rings have a thick band and buttons to access its technology, with them being used around the intermediate phalange of the ring finger.
Alliance rings are mass-produced technological rings. The rings available to the public are highly advanced smart devices that can project a small rectangular holographic screen. The images and voices of Adrien and Lila are used as male and female templates for the rings AI.
Their true purpose is to allow Monarch to channel the Miraculous superpowers through his own rings to the ring worn by an Akumatized villain without giving them the actual miraculous, thus allowing him to strengthen his villains without the risk of losing a miraculous.
