Telangana government has decided to name the new integrated State Secretariat complex after the Father of the Indian Constitution, Dr BR Ambedkar.

The construction of the new integrated Secretariat complex has been progressing at a hectic pace with the target of getting it ready by Februaru 17th. Works have been taken up paralelly on all floors, apart from taking up beautification works.

The seven-storey Secretariat building with a built-up area of seven lakh square feet is being built at a cost of Rs 650 crore.
