"Kiss tha Game Goodbye" is the first album by American rapper Jadakiss. It was originally set to be released on April 18, 2000, but came out on August 7, 2001, under Ruff Ryders Entertainment and Interscope Records. When it debuted, it reached number five on the US Billboard 200 chart and number two on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In its first week, it sold 204,000 copies. Later, it was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over 500,000 copies in the United States.

Jason Terrance Phillips, born on May 27, 1975, is an American rapper known by his stage name Jadakiss. He's from Yonkers, New York. He started his career in the 1990s and formed a hip hop group called the Lox with Styles P and Sheek Louch in 1994. The group signed with Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Records to release their first studio album, Money, Power & Respect, in 1998. Their second album, We Are the Streets, came out in 2000 under Ruff Ryders Entertainment. Both albums did well, reaching the top five on the Billboard 200 chart and getting positive reviews. Their next two albums, Filthy America... It's Beautiful (2013) and Living Off Xperience (2020), were released by Jay-Z's Roc Nation and also got praised by critics.
