100% Glitchless Speedrun in

Описание к видео 100% Glitchless Speedrun in

I did something no one else would even dare to do. I 100%-ed this game in one sitting... Technically it's a speedrun, but rationally the game wasn't supposed to be 100%-ed fast.

The worst requirement of the run is to finish all the Enclave missions. And this missions appear only when you played free roam for hours. So the Enclave research progress stops if you play missions. It also stops until you finish the mission of the previous phase. And also all phases of research require a certain story mode act to be finished in order to even begin.

So that's how you can save time now:
1) For now it looks like we can't speed up the Enclave's research progress. So you need to do your free roam stuff ONLY after the Enclave can begin the second phase of research. In this run I completed the first phase before the second could begin and so I lost time.
2) You can remember the places of the Enclave missions and complete them at the very moment they appear. It will save time, because the next phase will begin just after the mission end.
3) You can still play missions and mini-games faster, since this time doesn't count for the Enclave research. This time I played okay, but it can be played better. Also maybe there's a way to finish mini-games just at the exact moment you met the gold medal requirement. It counts as a fail if you return to city through menu early.
4) The game crashed TWICE on me this time. Gladly, no real progress was lost, but it's still a time loss.
5) Also I spend much time in menu. For an ideal run you must not see map and upgrades at all.

And that's basically it. Other than that the run is pretty easy. For the collectibles I made a map (you can check it here: https://www.speedrun.com/the_incredib..., so it's fairly easy and since we need to waste much time in the city, we don't even need to really learn the route. And also glitched category for 100% doesn't make sense yet. Canister duplication will only leave you with a chance to lose your health and rage collecting an odd canister and with more free time to do nothing in the free roam. For all collectibles though it would be a time save.

Oh yeah, there is one feat that might be a run killer. The one in Explosive Fury ability: Knock an enemy back 436 ft. using any attack. I lost some time trying to get it replaying story missions, but it looks like it happens randomly. I didn't even understand how I got it... Gladly I could still do it before the final Enclave missions. It seems ground slam works perfectly fine for this.

Well, I don't even know what to add here... If anyone wanted to see this game 100%-ed in one sitting - that's your chance. I doubt I'll rerun it. I might, of course, but maybe years later just for fun and to see if I was really right about all these time improvement remarks.

I don't want to make time codes for everything here. You can do it yourself in the comments and I'll pin it. But there are some moments I want to highlight:
5:19:14 - That would be the end of All Collectibles run.
However, I want to run that category separately so I could not spend time on the Enclave missions and upgrades.
7:15:58 - That's how I got explosive fury. Well, looks fairly easy to do again.

That's it. I really do hope there will be a way to glitch the Enclave missions. Ideally, an hour or so can be saved over this run easily. But it's still WAY to long to play in one sitting.
