Pulling SNAP PEAS & Planting Pickling Cucumbers in pots | DIY TRELLIS | Zone 8b | Potager

Описание к видео Pulling SNAP PEAS & Planting Pickling Cucumbers in pots | DIY TRELLIS | Zone 8b | Potager

The Snap peas growing in containers are getting dry and producing less and less as temperature gets higher to 90s F. But the snap peas growing in the garden bed are still doing fine.

These snap peas are getting pulled today and I will be planting pickling cucumber seedlings which was sowed 3 weeks ago.

Here’s a tip, if you’re going to buy cucumber seedlings, make sure they don’t have blooms yet. Ideal temperature for growth and fruiting is between 60-75 deg F. Cucumbers will grow slow and not fruit much when temps are higher than 90 degrees F (32 C). So time your planting and baby your seedlings.

Thank you for watching this video.
