Have you ever wondered what it’s like to bandage a Bald Eagle? Flight train a falcon? Clean up after a vulture? Anna Morris and Grae O’Toole from VINS, the Vermont Institute of Natural Science, will share some of the day-to-day of their unusual jobs. They’re excited to answer all your burning questions about caring for wild birds, and careers working with wildlife.

Anna Morris Bio: Anna is the Lead Environmental Educator at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science. While pursuing a degree in Animal Science at Cornell University, she fell in love with environmental education and birds of prey, and completed a graduate degree in Raptor Biology at Boise State University. Anna has a decade of experience working with native North American raptors, is a Certified Professional Bird Trainer, and loves having deep conversations with enthusiastic young learners.

Grae O'Toole Bio: Grae is the Lead Wildlife Keeper at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Biology and Environmental Studies. Since graduating she became interested in wildlife and has been an avian rehabilitator at VINS since 2017.
